Things I LOVE Right Now!

So I have become obsessed with Pinterest!  If you don't know what it is go and discover it!  www.pinterest.com It is absolutely amazing!  All you have to do is sit and waste time looking at cute things you like, places you want to go, people you want to be like, and things you want to make - but know you will never have the time to make.  It is such a cool site.

So I have decided to share a few of my favorite things with you.  These are things I have discovered and some of my favorite sayings that I have found.

I love this!!  I am going to try and beg my sister to create it for me for my new house in Waco!!  I just love this!

I also love this picture - These words should be engraved into every person's mind because they are excellent words to live by.  Not only are they all positive, clean, and very encouraging; they are great house and home rules.  I want this in my home and my kids will all grow up to know these phrases well!

Can anybody, besides a hairdresser, do this to themselves?  If so, I need to meet you - because I love all of these hairdo's and I want to learn how to do all of them.  They are all so classy.

This should be my motto - however, it is not.  I put everything out there so that nobody has any question about what I am feeling or wondering or thinking etc.. I tell everybody my business because they are just going to make my business theirs soon enough, why don't I just cut down on the gossip and tell them.  Anyways I like what she means, my dad always tells me if you want the horse to follow... walk away!

I wish I was this sexy...i love her hair and how beachy it looks - i love her face... wow.

So I am contemplating doing this in my room at my house in waco... just thinking about it - what do you think?

Wow!  can I just pray right now that my man says this to me - and if he does... while he is proposing (or shortly thereafter) I will be a happy camper for the rest of my life :)  LOVE LIFE

I love this saying! haha - I love to sweat when I work out and this makes it that much more enjoyable!

Or I could do this to my room... That would be nice! Love the polka dots!

Thought this was really cool and classy for my phone - I just wish I had a different initial at the end of my name :)

This just came out!  And I really want to see it and I can't find it in movie theaters anywhere!

I am getting a library card Tomorrow, is the library even open on Sundays?  Well I am going and I am getting this book!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post!  I sure have!

Ms. Worry Wart!

Today I have really been searching the Word for a peace about troubled times.  No I am not without food, shelter or clothing - so I am more privileged and well-off than over 75% of the world.  However, my heart is not peaceful right now - I am not completely happy and I am worrying about something - which I can't tell you because I don't know what it is.

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and been stressing out about something only to realize that you are stressing about some fight or test that was occurring in your dream? That is how I feel right now.  Am i stressing about something stupid?  Am I worrying about something non-existent... something is wrong in this picture.

So I searched the scripture with a prayerful heart - and this is what I found...

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer - Psalms 94:19

But I urge you - if you are feeling like I am... read Habakkuk - all 3 chapters!  It is amazing!
Habakkuk is completely trusting God even though God has pretty much told him that He will destroy Judah.  Here are the verses that stuck out to me:

Habakkuk 3:2,16c,18

2.  Renew them in our day, in our time make them known, in wrath remember mercy.
16c. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us
18. yet I will rejoice in the Lord - I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Habakkuk affirmed that even though life was going to be hard he would wait for the hardships and he would wait patiently on them.  I know I have said it before and I will continue to say it -

PATIENCE IS NOT MY VIRTUE>

I don't think about it, I don't do it, and I am NOT good at it.  But Habakkuk says not only is he going to wait on the protection and mercy and love of the Lord, but he is going to wait PATIENTLY on the calamity - that is the BAD STUFF! holy cow!  are you kidding me... so by canonizing this book - is God telling me that not only do I need to wait PATIENTLY on the desires of my heart but on the calamity to happen in my life?

And then 2 verses later Habakkuk says when nothing makes sense, when I don't even have the strength to continue - I will rejoice in the Lord - and be joyful in God!

I am a girl - so as you can imagine - Cinderella is someone I aspire to be.  I want to get married and have kids and be successful.  I also want to timidity that Cinderella has - let's just be honest - it's not going to happen.  However, it is a desire of mine to be married one day - hint: ONE DAY and have children.  I am learning slowly right now that I must CONSTANTLY rejoice in the LORD everyday in the little things in life - because it might not necessarily be my time right now - but if I continue to rejoice in the Lord - he will do what David talked about in Psalms 94:19 (above) He will give me comfort and a renewed hope and cheer.

None of us are completely worry free - however, God's presences gives us the comfort and the strength that we need to bounce back, sometimes not immediately, but when doubt fills our mind - God is there READY TO COMFORT US!  Today, I hope I have enouraged you to lean on God - no matter what life throws at you!  Pour your heart on Him and He will comfort you and bring you back to that Charmed Bliss!

The joy and hope of the Lord be with you always!

Trust In The Day!

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16,18
I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Psalm 16:8

The presence of God is a reality that we can experience. He is the God who is there. Unfortunately, we can go day after day and never be conscious of His reality. Leanne Payne in her book “Listening Prayer” writes, “It is especially easy for modern people to regard the supernatural world and activities as somehow less real than the world we behold with our senses. As twentieth-century Christians, we live in a materialistic age in which our systems of learning have long based their conclusions on scientific truth alone. The presuppositions of such systems have misled many generations of students, blinding them to the truths of God and the Unseen Real.”

Paul says that he did not lose heart because of the reality of fixing his eyes on what is unseen. The unseen reality of God renewed his heart, day by day.

David said he was not shaken by life’s experiences because he experienced God at his side.

How about you? Is God’s presence a reality in your life? Do you renew your heart day by day because of the reality of His presence in your life? It’s not too late. Start today to experience His reality. Spend time with God, talk to Him, ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
This has become ever more real to me because I am entering a new time in my life.  I am about to become a Baylor Bear and because of that - I am so nervous.
I am nervous because not only am I moving away from everything I have ever known - I will be alone!  I do not know anybody.  I don't know whether or not this is what God really wants from me; but I do not  know if Baylor is where I am supposed to be but I trust that no matter where I am God will use me and I will be completely in his will.  Do you believe that?

I hope you do.  I pray that God will continue to show me the unseen and what is real and eternal.

Check out what I found!  Perfect for today!

I WANT MORE!!

TODAY’S VERSE
May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.
II Peter 1:2

TODAY’S THOUGHT
Life is a learning curve. The more you try something, the more challenging it becomes. Rock climbing a small wall takes little skill and strength but as you attempt more challenging climbs, your need for skill and strength increases. Likewise in our Christian walk, the longer we live, the more relationships we have with all their complexities. The more responsibilities we have with their ever increasing demands. The more challenging life becomes, the more grace and peace we need. The more we need spiritual knowledge about God. Today ask God for more. Ask Him for more grace. Ask Him for more peace. Ask Him to increase your knowledge and understanding of who He is. Might your prayer be, “More Lord, give me more.”

The more I think about asking God for more peace and the one think I constantly ask him for, patience, I think of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!

I hope this song is ringing in your ears. This precious little girl (sarcasm) made your ears bless for 3.56 minutes while you sat and listened and watched her sing about how she wants more and the world and the whole world!

God wants us, not to act like spoiled brats, but to ask him humbly for things. We don't get more unless we GROW IN HIS KNOWLEDGE!!

I encourage you to get to know the word and God and see what he is telling you and trying to teach you!

Today was a boring day. So I'm just going to go to bed! Tomorrow will be better!! I have a long list of things to get accomplished! The day will start early with my nails!! :)

And then yuck... Working out! But we will meet here again tomorrow!

With charmed bliss!

Change Came on a Saturday

Ephesians 5:15-20
Be careful then, how you live - not ad unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lords will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart o the Lord and always give thanks to God the Father for everything!!

Well, when I saw that this was my study this morning I prayed that God would speak to me in a different way. I have had my fun with wine and alcohol and trust me it's not the lifestyle I seek anymore - so in that sense I have "conquered" this verse.

But have we ever conquered, truly conquered the Bible or The teachings in it? No, I don't think we could or can ever completely conquer them.

As I read my study bible I circled several words... They were wise, making the most of every OPPORTUNITY, being FILLED with the Spirit, and speak to each other in Psalms.

First, the word wise brings several proverbs to mind! I mean seriously the whole book is trying to teach you howto attain wisdom! Go read it!

Proverbs 1:5
Let the wise listen and add to their instruction and the discerning add to their guidance !

One of the many verses David writes about!

Another point that stuck out to me was that we are to be filled with the Spirit and by doing so we are able to speak to one another in psalms and hymns! Wow! That means that not only do we need to memorize scripture and meditate on it but that we are to speak in it! That is very bold and very hard - but it is something I was convicted on this morning!!

Take every opportunity that God blesses you with and commit it back to him. I heard something the other day on K Love and they Said "Jesus never gives you anything that wasn't his first!" so give it back. Live humbly!

So yesterday I tried to make popsicles.... FAIL! I tried out this new contraption I bought for $5 at eggshells in the kitchen, a kitchen store in kavanaugh, don't go - way too over priced! Anyways ... I will show you what I wanted it to look like and then what it actually turned out like! Boy oh Boy - I thought they would be cuter than this' haha I was WRONG!

Stupid popsicle maker!!!

How mine turned out.. NOT GOOD!

So I'm discouraged however I will stick to cupcakes! That's my specialty! In fact, I've been talking about my SCENTSY Party and I think I'm making these for the guests!!

Except in baby mason jars!!

This weekend, Taylor has had a baseball tournament - he coaches a 14-16 yr old team in Brinkley, and the tournament has been in DES Arc. So last night I drove over and they won so this morning at 530 I drove to Brinkley picked Taylor up and came back to the game.

Nobody has met Taylor yet, not like I don't want to bring him around, but we aren't exactly official. So anyways, here are a couple of stalker pictures hahaha!

Don't tell!

He is the far right in this picture.

Him and his kids!!!

Tonight Andrea Hare gets married so I'm sure I will have a picture or two from that!

Until then!
Have a blissful day!

Friend Time!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Philippians 4:6

Anxiety can ruin a day. Most of our anxiety centers around something terrible we think will happen. Of course, this would make anyone anxious; but the truth is that most of the time the terrible things we think will happen, don’t! That is MY dilemma. I/we believe so many lies. No wonder Jesus said that the truth would set us free. So what is my definition of terrible? Basically, it is something that I think wil be more than I can ever endure. It is beyond human endurance, worst than anything we can imagine.

Now Jesus comes along and says, “Don’t let your heart be troubled.” Paul writes, “Do not be anxious about ANYTHING!” . So, today realize that you have a choice and choose not to be anxious. Today believe the truth that you can trust God and choose not to be anxious. Today when anxiety comes, know that the terrible dread that it conjures up is a lie and follow Paul’s instruction, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

I have had a long Day! First I went and worked out - however me and Julie just sat there for an hour an we talked.. It was time for a day off. Then I was surprised by Kati and her son Ryder! At my house! Then I went to Cnway and had dinner with Rachel Kati and Molly Anne! We had our Girls Night Out!! It was s fun! Then we came over to Rachel's new apartment and I decorated a few things in her kitchen and we are now watching Charlie St. Cloud! What a great day filled with loving friends and fun times!!
