Miss Arkansas Golf Tournament

Today was a busy day.  We started the weekend off on Saturday with a Tony Bowls Photo Shoot (pictures to come) and then yesterday with our Miss Arkansas May Meeting where I got A6 for my spot at Miss Arkansas ( i am thrilled) and today we wrapped up the Miss Arkansas Meeting with a Golf Tournament Fundraiser.  Here are my favorite shots from the day!

This is my shot.. haha - it didn't go very far - probably 10 yards straight cut to the right... onto the cart path and rolled right under a tree like an acorn.... I am not a golfer :)

In the golf cart with Bethany, Cortnie, and Candace - three other contestants.  It will be a really fun summer - all of the girls seemed really nice and coming back as a returner will be an interesting feeling.  I am really excited about it!

This is one of our golfers today Bryce.  He goes to my school and happened to be playing today - always nice to see sweet faces :)

Getting away from the Miss Arkansas mambo jambo -
I have had quite the boy drama lately - he likes me, he doesnt... he likes me he doesnt...

I went and saw Something Borrowed last week... I would give it 2 stars just for the story line.  However, I learned something very valuable :

"Whether it is you like me or you don't, you want me or you dont, kiss me or not, whatever the decision is.... JUST MAKE A DECISION!!"  Those probably aren't the exact words but you get the picture!

It is kind of how I feel about this boy right now - I know that everything will work out - but still I would kind of like to know that I am going to get married one day.  It is kind of looming in my brain right now - and I wish that I could know just that I would be a mom...

Which brings me to my next point...

God is teaching me that no matter what happens He is in control.  My verse of the week is in Deuteronomy... Do not fear!  Read this blog post from My Devo of the Day

“But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Deuteronomy 4:29 (NIV)
Have you ever sought after God? There are so many different things we seek after every day, some good, some not so good. But the one thing that will make all the difference in the world is seeking after God. God can meet the longing of your heart. He can satisfy your every need. The secret is seeking God with all your heart and soul. It cannot be a half hearted search, but rather a desperate longing, a deep commitment to know and love God. It is nothing less than a consecration of your life, passions and purpose. When you seek God in this way you will find Him. Start today. Ask God to reveal Himself to you. Ask Him to make you aware of His presence. Spend time with Him. Meditate on His word and come to Him in prayer. When you do, you will find out that the Psalmist was right when he wrote, “you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.”.

Isn't that good!  Go check out that site - it is awesome!

Well that is to catch you up in my life.  I am sure I will read this post in 6 months and laugh at my life and how futile it is and how big of a deal I think it is now. haha

well - with charmed bliss...
